Waggie Tails Walk Terms & Conditions

Waggie Tails Walk
Colorado Springs, Colorado

By scheduling or booking any care with Waggie Tails Walk, you formally agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Our Services
Waggie Tails Walk offers professional pet-care solutions, including customized dog walking, adventure excursions, home check-ins, pet sitting, outings, and limited in-home boarding. All services are finalized and confirmed between Waggie Tails Walk and the client prior to the start of any scheduled visit.

Pet Information & Client Responsibility
To provide the best care, clients must supply comprehensive and current details regarding their pets, such as:
- Medical history and current conditions
- Medication schedules and dosages
- Known allergies
- Behavioral traits or concerns
- Previous bite history
- Specific triggers or fears
- Primary veterinarian contact info
- Emergency contact details
- Special handling or care instructions
Clients are required to update Waggie Tails Walk immediately regarding any changes to this information.

Safety & Behavioral Standards
Waggie Tails Walk maintains the right to alter, shorten, or cancel a service if a pet poses a risk to itself, the public, other animals, the handler, or property. Owners must disclose if a pet is aggressive, reactive, or prone to escaping. We may utilize specialized safety gear or handling techniques when necessary to ensure the security of all involved.

Leashes & Care Equipment
Pets will be managed using secure leashes, harnesses, or collars. It is the client's duty to provide well-fitted, functional gear. If provided equipment is deemed unsafe or damaged, Waggie Tails Walk may use alternative gear or adjust the activity to maintain safety protocols.

Home Access Requirements
For in-home visits, clients must ensure safe access to the premises. Keys and access codes are kept strictly confidential and used solely for scheduled care. Clients must also inform us of active alarm systems or structural access issues that could hinder entry.

Scheduling & Cancellation Policy
Please provide maximum advance notice for any booking changes. Specific cancellation fees may apply for peak holidays, reserved time slots, or high-demand periods. We will communicate these terms clearly before you book. Waggie Tails Walk may reschedule tasks if extreme conditions make the service unsafe.

Payment Terms
Payments are due based on the schedule agreed upon during booking. Extra fees may be applied for additional pets, travel, holiday rates, or special requests. We reserve the right to pause services for any accounts with outstanding balances.

Medication Administration
We can administer routine medications if requested in advance with clear written directions. Clients must provide labeled supplies. Please note that we do not offer clinical veterinary treatments, injections, or diagnostic medical care unless explicitly agreed upon within our professional capacity.

Veterinary Emergencies
In the event of sudden illness or injury, we will attempt to reach the owner or emergency contact immediately. If we cannot reach you and urgent care is needed, Waggie Tails Walk is authorized to seek medical attention for your pet. The owner is responsible for all veterinary costs. We will prioritize your preferred vet but may use an emergency clinic if required.

Extreme Weather Protocol
Outdoor activities may be modified or canceled due to heavy snow, ice, extreme heat, poor air quality, or lightning. Your pet's health takes precedence over the full duration of a scheduled walk during hazardous conditions.

Limited In-Home Boarding
Boarding is available on a restricted basis and requires prior compatibility screening. Owners must disclose issues like separation anxiety, resource guarding, or house-soiling. We reserve the right to decline boarding if a pet is not a fit for the home environment.

Transfers & Outings
If transport is included, we will use reasonable precautions to move pets to parks or clinics. Owners must notify us of any travel-related stress or motion sickness in advance.

Updates & Photography
We love sharing updates via photos or videos of your pet’s adventures. However, your pet’s imagery will not be featured in our public marketing, social media, or website without your explicit consent.

Protection of Personal Property
While we exercise great care in your home, Waggie Tails Walk is not liable for normal wear, damage caused by your pets, or issues arising from pre-existing property defects. Please secure all hazardous materials and valuables appropriately.

Liability & Inherent Risks
Pet care involves natural risks. While Waggie Tails Walk provides high-standard care, we cannot guarantee the prevention of all accidents or unexpected behaviors. Clients remain liable for risks associated with undisclosed pet histories. These terms do not waive rights protected by law.

Emergency Protocol
Clients must provide a reachable emergency contact. If you are unavailable during an urgent matter, we will follow the instructions provided by your designated contact.

Right to Refuse Service
We may suspend or terminate services due to safety threats, inaccurate pet info, nonpayment, or unsafe property conditions. Professional boundaries and mutual respect are required for continued service.

General Compliance
Owners certify that they have legal authority over the pet and that all animals are compliant with local licensing and vaccination laws. These terms may be updated, with the current version available at waggietailswalk.com.
